To work around this, go to your Downloads folder and find Lingofy.pkg.
Right click on Lingofy.pkg and choose “Open With,” then choose Installer from the flyout menu.
You’ll see this dialog:
Click Open to proceed. This will launch the installer.
Running the installer
Click through the prompts as directed.
Finishing the installation
After the installation is complete, you will be prompted to choose whether you want Lingofy to automatically download and install updates.
If you click “Check Automatically,” Lingofy will check once per day for updates. If you click Don’t Check, you may still check for updates manually by going to the Lingofy menu and choosing “About.”
If Chrome was running during the installation process, you will need to quit and relaunch Chrome to launch Lingofy. Upon relaunch, the Lingofy splash screen will appear at the top right of the screen and then disapper, and the Lingofy button will appear in the Chrome toolbar.
